Zambia Airports Corporation Limited says Air France KLM-Martniair has re-launched its Cargo freight to Zambia.
In a statement issued to Money FM, Airports Corporation Limited Board Vice Chairperson, Prisca Chikwashi says the re-launch of the Cargo freight is in line with Zambia’s intention to attain the status of aviation hub for the sub-continent
And Air France KLM- Cargo Regional Director Pier Luigi Vigada, says the changed environment and growth in the economy has driven the airline to resume its freight to Zambia once a week.
Mr. Vigada says the airline that last operated in Zambia three years ago, will operate once a week to sustain the economic growth mainly driven by mining equipment industry, horticultural related materials, construction and foodstuff.
