Bus Transport operation slows down.

Bus and Taxi Owners association says the operation of business in the transport sector across the country has slowed down.


Association Spokesperson Amis Daudi told Money FM News in an interview that this has been mostly as a result of the currency fluctuation on the market.
“These are tough times, the business environment is slow now” he said


Mr Daudi added that in the first quarter of the year passengers also rarely travel on Public Busses due to other financial obligations they have to meet.
He said the transport sector business better performance is expected to normalize in March and April.


Mr Daudi Noted that at beginning of the year you people are paying a lot of bills due to different financial obligations they have as such affecting their travelling programs.
“Some people don’t travel at all.” He said
He added that the trend also happens in late December.
