BUY ZED Campaign has urged government to consider constructing the state of art interchange between Levy Mwanawasa hospital and the Febiano Chella Police Camp in Chelstone on Great East road in phase two of the Lusaka Decongestion project seeing traffic is heavy between the two places.

BUYZED Campaign Founder Evans Ngoma is also of the view that local engineers should design the interchange and execute the project citing the need to believe in in them because over the years, the country has produced notable engineers who are doing well in other countries.

“For once people let us begin to believe the Works of our own hands because I think over the years Zambia has produced notable engineers who are doing extremely well in other countries.” He said.

Mr. Ngoma further urged the Engineering Institute of Zambia to ensure they work together and come up with a masterpiece of an interchange, “be it on the Great East Road or elsewhere like we are seeing in other countries.”

He has since appreciated government’s efforts in the decongestion program of the city of Lusaka which he says was in phase one.

“We would like to appreciate governments’ effort in the decongestion program of the City of Lusaka, I believe what we have seen is Just Phase one,” he appreciated.
