Chisamba MP hails India – Zambia relations

Chisamba Member of Parliament has praised the India – Zambia warm bilateral relations.
“The Decongestion of Lusaka Roads project is one of the greatest achievements in the brotherly relations between the two countries,” Chushi Kasanda said.
She said her Constituency, just as other parts of the country, had also benefited from the 650 health posts being executed by Zambia working with India.
“India – Zambia cooperation is also visible in the areas of health, tourism and trade,”The Chisamba Member of Parliament said.
Ms Kasanda was speaking when she called on Zambia’s High Commissioner to India Judith Kapijimpanga at the Zambian Chancery in New Delhi.
“Zambia is also enjoying a cordial relationship politically as the President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, visited Zambia in April last year, the first time that an Indian President visited Zambia in 30 years,” she said.
And Zambia’s High Commissioner to India Judith Kapijimpanga said the Central Province Investment Expo created a lot of impetus for Indians to invest in Zambia.
“We recently took some prospective investors who held talks with Central Province Permanent Secretary Bernard Chomba,” Mrs. Kapijimpanga said.
The High Commissioner said the Mission in India would market all the investment expos in order to boost trade and investment between India and Zambia.
This was contained in a statement released by First Secretary Press and Tourism at the Zambian Mission in New Delhi, Bangwe Naviley.
