Extend G 12 exam fees due date – ECZ requested

The National Action for Quality Education in Zambia NAQEZ say they are requesting the Examinations Council of Zambia ECZ to extend the due date for paying internal grade 12 examination fees by 45 days.
NAQEZ executive Director Aaron Chansa says the 31st December deadline will disadvantage a lot of candidates who are currently holiday.
He says Reports from different parts of the country are indicating that most candidates have not yet paid for these national examinations.
Meanwhile Mr. Chansa says the team bargaining for improved conditions for teachers should tell the teachers the outcomes of the bargaining process.
He says his organization is concerned that the progress of the negotiations is still not known and the year is ending.
Mr. Chansa says teachers need to be motivated as they are the engine of the education system in the country.
He says this in a statement made available to Money FM News in Lusaka.
