Farm productivity should be enhanced – BuyZed

The Buy Zed Campaign has observed that enhancing farm productivity and efficiency is key to utilizing the land resource that the country has in an effort to increase yield output.
Buyzed founder Evans Ngoma says there is need to increase players in the farming industry as well as the hectarage for more output and for the benefit of all citizens.
Mr. Ngoma Tells Money FM News in an interview that value addition should however be the key pillar of growing the sector with a focus on groundnuts as the country diversifies from Maize production.
The campaign founder is confident that Zambia can produce various products from groundnuts such as peanut butter and roasted nuts to supply within the country and to European Countries.
Mr. Ngoma has noted the need to invest time into research and technology development.
