Fish Producer confident about meeting 18,000mt target despite harsh climate.

A local fish Producer has expressed confidence about meeting an 18,000 metric tonnes production of fish per annum this year despite the unfavorable climatic conditions.


Yalelo Fisheries Director Fisho Mwale says in an interview with Money FM News that this should set a benchmark for others entering the sector that they can succeed as well.


Mr. Mwale explains that this can only be done with proper management and strategic future planning to mitigate issues such as climate change.


He says 2019 has been a difficult year for his industry, but his company has been performing well.
