Fumbeshi encourages Zambians to invest in property development

A Property Development Consultant has encouraged Zambians to invest in property development as it is a lifetime investment.

Fairworld Properties Chief Executive Officer Chisebwe Fumbeshi has told Money FM News that it is important that people begin to invest in property development as it will not only give them a home but it is also a source of income.

“It is important that as professionals in property management, we begin to encourage our people to invest in real estate. This is a viable investment that one can venture in due to its economic gains,” he said.

He says Zambians should take advantage of the improved infrastructure done by the government such as roads to source for land even from chiefs and not only rely on state land.

“We have vast land as a country and we should take advantage of that by ensuring that we get land from chiefs or from the government and begin to build slowly.

And when asked why Zambians are reluctant to invest in real estate, Mr. Fumbeshi says people lack information on the acquisition of land and what it takes to put up a structure.
