President Edgar Lungu says the construction of the new technologically-advanced Levy Mwanawasa University Teaching Hospital is a clear indication that Government is delivering on the Seventh National Development goal on health.
According to a post on his Facebook page monitored by Money FM news, President Lungu said government is leading the country towards achieving equitable access to quality health care by 2030, in line with Vision 2030 goal on health.
“Accelerating development efforts towards the Vision 2030 without leaving anyone behind”, is the goal of our country’s Seventh National Development Plan” President Lungu said.
The Head of State said Economic Productivity is a function of a healthy citizenry and government has already made tremendous progress in transforming Zambia into a nation of healthy and productive people.
“Accelerating development efforts towards the Vision 2030 without leaving anyone behind is the goal for the country’s Seventh National Development Plan” He said.
President Lungu said realization of the Seventh National Development goal in the heath sector will be achieved by improving health and health-related services through refurbishing health infrastructure and equipment, among others.
