Indian Women Entrepreneurs’ Network eye Zambia

The Zambian Embassy in India has revealed that thirty Indian business women from a network of women entrepreneurs in India have declared interest in Zambia’s trade and tourism Sectors.
Womenovator Founder Tripti Shinghal says her organization is keen to host delegation from Zambia to encourage the empowerment of women entrepreneurs in the country.
Ms. Shinghal was speaking when the organization visited the Zambian High Commission in New Delhi, adding that the delegation is interested in discussions that will result in visible progress.
She explains that the network aims to make a virtual incubator for women entrepreneurs who have extraordinary ideas and are looking for a platform to grow Which can be achieved through business education and training, mentoring and networking, among others.
And addressing the delegation, Zambia’s High Commissioner to India Judith Kapijimpanga has urged the women to take part in the in the various commercial activities in the country.
Ms. Kapijimpamga has cited the Southern Province Investment Expo, Zambia Agriculture and Commercial Show, Zambia International Trade Fair, North Western Province Investment Expo, Copperbelt Investment Expo, and Zambia Economic Summit in Livingstone.
She says the Mission will endeavour to link the Indian business women to relevant stakeholders such as Zambia Development Agency -ZDA and Zambia Chambers of Commerce and Industry -ZACCI for further collaboration.
