The Zambia Institute of Marketing has expressed concern over the increase in number of what it has termed as briefcase advertising agencies.
The institute has also disclosed that the process of formulating a law to regulate the Advertising Industry in the country has reached advanced stage.
Institute Registrar and Chief Executive Officer Mapesa Musongole tells Money FM News that the institute has decided to start regulating the advertising industry following the increase in briefcase adverting Agencies.
He says so far only eleven advertising agencies are registered with the Zambia institute of Marketing, a situation he says should not be the case.
Mr. Musongole says the increase in briefcase advertising agencies markets it difficult for the institute to generate revenue from the industry.
