KCCI President Christabel Reinke said the participation of women business is crucial in sustainable operation of entrepreneurship.
She also noted that there was need for a review of the just ended Central Province Investment Forum and Expo in order to draw lessons from it and establish the exact benefits.
Ms Reinke said the review would help in coming up with lessons that could be helpful for future events.
The KCCI President was speaking when the chamber presented awards to six members for their exemplary performance this year.
Meanwhile Provincial Deputy Permanent Secretary Felix Mang’wato said several investment pledges have been made by different companies following the recently held region Investment Forum and Expo.
Mr Mang’wato noted that apart from the US $300 million Chibombo industrial park, a number of foreign and local companies have pledged set up businesses in the region.
