Kapiri glass manufacturing factory expected to bring financial stability.

Kabwe based Economist says the opening of a glass manufacturing Factory in Kapiri Mposhi district  of Central Province will contribute to financial stability of the district and the nation.

Noah Kabwita told Money FM News in an interview that the opening of the factory will also promote employment creation for the locals because the district has had no serious employer from the time big companies were shut down.
“It is a relief and I am sure stakeholders such as investors, government Institutions like ZRA, Napsa, Workers Compensation and the community itself are very excited because the opening of the factory will improve the state of Kapiri,” Mr. Kabwita said.
He said the reopening of the company which is in private hands is a good move as it is going to bring about financial and economic benefits.
”This shows that an economy that is well run attracts investments and investors are willing to come in and do business,” he observed.

Mr. Kabwita thanked all players involved in ensuring that the company is operational.
The production of glass products at a multi-million-dollar glass manufacturing company in Kapiri Mposhi District has started.

Eagle Glass Company has invested 15 million United States dollars to set up the factory which has already created about 150 jobs for local people.
