Lusaka Water and Sewerage Company (LWSC), says it is working on improving its water supply system through the implementation of projects.
The water utility company says the projects include the Iolanda Project, Millennium Challenge Project and Kafue Bulb to meet the increased demand in Lusaka Province.
Speaking in an interview with Money FM News in Lusaka, Company Public Relations Officer Nshamba Muzungu says most of these projects are almost complete and the customers will see increased hours of water supply.
He adds that’s going forward the customers will see a frequent supply.
Mr. Muzungu says with these projects being implemented the company is trying to bridge the gap so that all demands are met.
”During these projects there has been a lot of interferences as well shut downs which is unavoidable. Most of these projects are almost complete and the customers will see increased hours of water supply which shows reliability,” he said.
Mr. Muzungu says that LWSC wants to make sure its customers are served reliably and going forward the customers will see a frequent supply of water.
