Northern Province calls for integrated approach to disbursing Social Security funds

The Northern Province Administration has called for an integrated approach to empowering women and the Vulnerable under Social Security Projects that government is undertaking.
Provincial Minister Brian Mundubile says there is need to increase the productivity of those being empowered as the numbers of those who need empowerment are increasing.
Mr. Mundubile was Speaking when Community Development and Social Services Minister Olipa Phiri Paid a courtesy Call on him.
And Ms. Phiri has revealed that they are working with Smart Zambia to Monitor the disbursement of the funds to avoid any illegal activities.
She says a group of women has received K2,700 as a start up capital for small businesses that they can engage in.
Ms. Phiri has assured those that have not received empowered that government is aware of their challenges and is working towards addressing them.
