Money FM, Zambia’s First and only Talk Business Radio has appointed Mr. Chibamba Kanyama as Board Chairman to further the growth of the Radio Station.

Making the announcement, Mr. Chisebwe Fumbeshi Co-Founder and Out-going Chairman of the Board of Directors says Money FM Radio has brought a new dimension to broadcasting in Zambia as a Business Radio Station focusing on economics, business and personal finance issues.  Mr. Fumbeshi will remain on the Board and part of Management as Executive Director – Growth & Innovation.

Mr. Chibamba Kanyama, Managing Consultant of Bridges Limited a consultancy company specializing in business leadership, executive coaching, communications and stakeholder engagement. Prior to founding Bridges Limited, Mr Kanyama worked at the International Monetary Fund, Washington DC as Communications Advisor, Director of Corporate Affairs at SABMiller Zambia plc, Corporate Affairs and Marketing Director at Zambia State Insurance Corporation Limited.  He is also an established corporate governance trainer and author.

Mr. Fumbeshi says the Board is confident that Mr. Kanyama, former Director General of Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation will bring a wealth of knowledge, expertise and leadership to Money FM Radio as an economist and seasoned broadcaster.

Money FM Business Radio currently broadcasts in Lusaka and surrounding areas on 93.7fm, via website and Mobile app globally. Through its broadcast and other programs, the Radio Station promotes and supports entrepreneurship, business and personal finance.  As the first and only business radio in Zambia, Money FM focuses on business, economics and money-related topics, as well as general news and discussion of wider social topics such as health, education, food, music, fitness and more.
