Proflight Zambia has procured a new 50-seater bombardier turbo aircraft bringing its total fleet number to seven aircraft, and the promise of more convenience and more destinations.

The new 50-seater Bombardier Dash 8-300 turbo aircraft now brings its total fleet number to seven aircraft, and the promise of more convenience and more destinations.

Proflight’s Director of Flight Operations Captain Gerald Tembo, says the company is looking to expand the network of destinations throughout Southern African region.

Mr. Tembo says Proflight is increasing its capacity to cater to the growing customer base both in Zambia and on the international routes.

He adds that Proflight is already looking to add new domestic and international destinations to its schedule in addition to its three existing regional routes, from Lusaka to Durban, Harare and Lilongwe.

Mr. Tembo has disclosed that flights to Johannesburg, Gabon, Entebbe and Dar-es-Salaam are all being evaluated by the airline, which celebrates 27 years of operation this year.

Proflight currently operates a 50-seater Bombardier CRJ-100 jet, three 29-seater Jetstream 41 aircraft and two C208 Caravans, all Zambian registered with the Zambia Civil Aviation Authority (ZCAA).
