Luanshya Mayor Nathan Chanda has disclosed that the long awaited x-ray machine that was lobbied on behalf of people Luanshya for Roan General Hospital has finally arrived at the health institution.

Last year in June Luanshya the Luanshya Mayor bemoaned the lack of medical equipment at Roan General Hospital.

Mr. Chanda says roan general hospital has had no x-ray and ultrasound machine, putting pressure on Thomson Hospital which is small.

He explains that the people of roan, Mpatamatu, and other sounding areas are forced to travel and wait for the only operating machines at Thomson hospital in town.

Mr. Chanda has assured the people of roan that the story of an x-ray and machine will now be a thing of the past after the cries of the people of Luanshya have been taken care of by the pf government with brand new digital x-ray machine.
