Stable electricity supply reviving Zambia’s economy – Dodia

Economist Yusuf Dodia says the stabilization of power supply in the country after a major power deficit of 2016 has helped in reviving the Zambia’s economy.
Mr. Dodia says in order to keep the economy growing, there is need for Zesco to increase its power generation capacity in order to meet the growing demand.
He says for the country’s economy to continue growing, there must be stable and reliable power supply both to the mines and other entities.
Mr. Dodia says it is undeniable fact that the demand for electricity in growing the economy is increasing rapidly hence the need to ensure that there is stability in power generation and supply.
