Turkish airline to start operations in Zambia next week-ZACL

Zambia Airports Corporation Limited says the Turkish airline will start its operations next week
ZACL the Communication and Brand Manager Mweembe Sikaulu has told money FM News in an interview that the newly introduced flight will allow Zambia to have a direct route into Europe.
Ms Sikaulu says that corporation is excited about the development, because Zambians have waited too long for the route to be opened.
And Ms Sikaulu adds that Kenneth Kaunda International Airport will be a region hub following the massive investment in infrastructure development at the airport.
She says the modernization of the four international airports in the country will positively contribute in boosting the tourism sector in the country.
Ms Sikaulu adds that the corporation will be able to generating revenue from the massive infrastructure at the airport.
Ms Sikaulu further says that the general passenger movement in the first quarter of 2018 has seen an improvement of 11.6 percent.
She says the corporation had over 533 000 general passenger movement this year.
