Zambia Records 14 Covid-19 Deaths

The Ministry of Health has disclosed that Zambia has recorded 14 COVID-19 deaths in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry’s Daily Status Update, Lusaka recorded 13 Brought in Dead (BIDs) and one facility death in Livingstone.
The ministry further revealed that the nation has recorded 652 new confirmed COVID-19 cases from 10,866 tests done in the last 24 hours.
It added that Lusaka has 313 new cases, 83 in Livingstone, 40 from Mongu, 26 from Kafue, 25 in Chipata, 23 in Namwala, 20 from Chisamba, 20 from Katete, 19 from Choma, 16 in Mazabuka, 15 from Mufulira, 8 in Kitwe, 7 in Ndola and Solwezi.
Mansa recorded 5 cases, Kabwe and Luwingu have 4 cases each, Luanshya and Mumbwa have 3 cases, 2 from Nyimba, 2 in Zimba, while Chifunabuli, Chilubi, Kalumbila, Kasama, Mbala, Mpika and Petauke each have one case.
The Ministry also said 297 people have recovered in the last 24 hours taking the total number of recoveries since the outbreak of COVID-19 to 19, 526.
