Zambia records 2 Covid-19 deaths

• 2 Covid-19 deaths recorded in the last 24 hours.
• Covid-19 related deaths stand at 305
• 864 new Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours.

The Ministry of Health says 2 Covid-19 deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours.
According to the latest Ministry’s Covid-19 statistics update, Covid-19 deaths now stand at 166, while Covid-19 related deaths stand at 305 bringing the total number of deaths to 471 since the outbreak of the pandemic.
The Ministry further said the country has recorded 864 new Covid-19 cases out of the 8, 750 tests conducted in the last 24 hours.
This brings that the number of cumulative cases to 28,596, while the cumulative number of tests stands at 706,965.
And the Ministry says the number of recoveries now stands at 183 bring the total number of recoveries to 20,781.
It further says active cases now stand at 7,344.
