Zamtel not shaken with UZI

The state-owned telecommunications company Zamtel has welcomed the coming in of a fourth telecommunications company, Uzi Mobile Limited.
Speaking in an interview with Money FM News Zamtel Acting Corporate and Communications Manager Changwe Kabwe says competition is good in business as it leads to innovations.
Mr Kabwe says the mobile company is always looking forward to innovations because it helps increases levels of customer experience.
Mr Kabwe has since charged that the level of knowledge the telecommunication company has on the market cannot be compared to any of the new players in the industry.
“Zamtel has been around for a very, very long time, we have seen competition come and go, the company has worked with competition, survived competition and even defeated competition,” he said.
He says the high level of knowledge that the mobile company has acquired on the market puts it at a competitive advantage.
He says the company has achieved a lot of work in the telecommunications industry.
