CBTA calls for women Tech empowerment

The Cross boarder Traders Association (CBTA) has called for women traders to be educated more on latest Technologies in order for them to trade efficiently in the modern world.
CBTA Gender and trade Specialist Veronica Mwaba has bemoaned the plight of women especially those trading across boarders in accessing information that can help grow their businesses.
Ms Mwaba says without empowering the women with the right materials, it will be very difficult to make headways and achieve positive results towards the Agenda 2030.
She was speaking in an interview with Money FM News in Lusaka.
The Gender Specailist also says projects that are put in place for women in the region should be divided according to countries as different countries are on different levels in various economic areas.
Ms. Mwaba has observed that women are the most affected when challenges and disasters hit economies.
