The Ministry of Gender has advised low income earners to venture into farming and gardening for sustainability amid the anticipated Global Economic Slowdown this year.
Ministry Permanent Secretary Dr. Auxilia Ponga says this will help them reduce spending on a day to day basis.
Dr. Ponga has further advised women to join savings groups to better their livelihoods.
Dr. Ponga has also advised traders not to focus on selling just a single type of commodity but to have diversity of items on sale
She was speaking in an interview with Money FM News in Lusaka.
