Ms Sampa said the emerald producing firm will continue with its quest to support poverty alleviation programs through its corporate social responsibility in selected chiefdoms across the country.
The goat breeding pioneer project is been implemented by ZADAC Travel and Tours in four chiefdoms namely Chief Lupuma of the Copperbelt, Chieftainess Kawaza of the eastern, Chief Chitoshi of the Northern and Chief Chikanta of southern province.
And Chief Lupuma of the Lamba speaking people of Lufwanyama said that goat laying has suffered neglect in the country due to misconceptions that it can only be done by poor people.
He however thanked grizzly mining Ltd for the gesture towards the goat commercialisation project especially that it will improve the living standards of the people in the selected chiefdoms.
