Kwacha gaining against other foreign convertible currencies.

An Economist has described the performance of the Kwacha against the United States dollar as being stable in the last week of the month of August 2019.
Mr. Mambo Hamaundu observes that there has been marginal fluctuation in the exchange rate market with the Kwacha gaining slightly against other foreign convertible currencies.
Mr. Hamaundu attributes this to economic factors that prevailed during the course of the week.
The US dollar is buying at twelve ninety-seven ngwee and selling at thirteen Kwacha twenty-two ngwee.
The British pound is buying at fifteen-kwacha eighty-three ngwee and selling at sixteen Kwacha thirteen ngwee.
The Euro is buying at fourteen -kwacha thirty-six ngwee and selling at fourteen-kwacha sixty-four ngwee.
And the South African Rand is buying at eighty-five ngwee and selling at eighty-six ngwee.
