LuSE TRADING SUMMARY FOR TUESDAY, JULY 31, 2018: At the end of today’s trading session on the Lusaka Stock Exchange, a total of 157,906 shares in 46 deals, corresponding to a market value of ZMW 750,732.72, were traded. Eight equities participated in trading, ending with only one gainer, namely PUMA, with 1% share price appreciation. On the losing front, CECZ came out bottom with an end-of-day price depreciation of 2.12%, followed by BATZ (-1%) and BATA(-0.42%). REIZ recorded the highest volume of 135,704 traded shares, followed by CCAF (11,000), CECZ (5,451) and NATB (4,600). Regarding the performance of LuSE market indices, the benchmark LuSE All Share Index (LASI) shed 15.63 (-0.29%) points to close at 5,451.62, representing a 1-week loss of 1.41%, a 4-week loss of 0.08%, but an overall year-to-date gain of 2.33%.
