Sumaili challenges public to uphold values for development.

Minister of National Guidance and Religious Affairs says the Ministry is critical to the nation because it is mandated to ensure national values and principles in the people for social transformation and development.


Speaking at a media sensitization meeting Minister Godfridah Sumaili said that “if people uphold christian and national values they will address issues of corruption and low productivity which will bring economic and sustainable development.”


Reverend Sumaili added that “members of the public should remember their moral up bringing and be challenged to make a difference.”


She had since urged the media to be in the forefront to sensitize and educate the public on matters that encourage unity, love and national peace during this difficult  period.
