ZATIC hails African Agri Investment Indaba

The Zambia International Trade and Investment Center (ZATIC) has encouraged players in the agriculture sector to take advantage of the forthcoming African Agri Investment Indaba to showcase Zambia’s agriculture potential.
The African Agri Investment Indaba and Agri Trade Congress – Africa will be held in Cape Town, South Africa from 25th to 29th November, 2019.
ZITIC Chairperson Sebastian Kopulande tells Money FM News via telephone that this is platform that will accord Zambian farmers to present to the outside world the potential that exists in Zambia’s agro-processing and agriculture.
Mr. Kopulande says the indaba is aimed at increasing the level of investment coming into the agro-processing.
“At the indaba, we will have financial service providers who can help these players with financial services to expand their businesses in the agriculture and agro-processing sector,” he said.
He says Zambia needs to attract high level of investment coming into the country’s agro-processing sector as this will help in boosting the country’s economy.
