ZRA Tax payment migration still on.

The Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) says the recently launched tax system has eliminated most of the hiccups tax payers were experiencing before the upgrade.

ZRA Corporate Communications Manager Topsy Sikalinda told Money FM News in an interview that the old system subjected tax payers to a lot of spread sheets and excel documents which were too technical for them.

“In the past you had to do a lot of spread sheets, a lot of excel documents in terms of enabling microns, disabling microns and that was all jargon, you needed to be an IT guru for you to do it,” Mr. Sikalinda said.

Mr. Sikalinda added that migration to the new tax system is still ongoing and the active modules are perfect.
“The migration period for the online tax system is still on and it is as easy as using Facebook,” he added.
