Kwacha continues to lose grip as yesterday’s trading session saw US Dollar buying at eleven kwacha fifty five ngwee and selling at eleven kwacha sixty ngwee.
This is against its opening levels of buying at eleven kwacha twenty two ngwee and selling at eleven kwacha twenty seven ngwee during the morning trading session.
The market activity was mostly on the interbank, though most players were protective of their offer side.
And according to Cavmont Bank Market Report, corporate activity was still flat as most players remained cautious and optimistic.
Current trends suggest that the next resistance level for local unit is likely to be around eleven kwacha seventy ngwee against a dollar.
